Description:

500 m of road widening and reconstruction of an existing low-lying road. 

Scope:

Clearing and grubbing, traffic management, excavation, rock drainage layer, unbound pavement construction, bitumen sealing, line marking and landscaping.  

Challenges:

Naturally occurring soft foundations resulted in construction of a geofabric wrapped rock drainage layer for the entire length of the work section.
